ovine king Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 depends on the mantis style.from what i've experienced, they do more closing of the centre instead of going over the centre so it's not really use of THE (as if there's just the one version of it) centre line theory but more like they both use a theory based heavily on a similar centreline. earth is the asylum of the universe where the inmates have taken over.don't ask stupid questions and you won't get stupid answers.

I will eventually learn 2 8-Step forms in my 7-Star training. I know that 8-Step incorporates Bagua and some other styles. I think you mean Plum Blossom mantis. I know very little about the style except that people say it's not as "hard" as 7-Star or 8-Step.
