That's about as close as I'll ever get to going to the Olympics, unless I suddenly take up an obscure or lesser sport to bet entered as a competitior... My closest 'claim to fame' is that I have a friend who has been selected for the British Bobsleigh Team for the next Winter Olympics. GO MARK! "Was it really worth it? I love to use my hands and would not give that up for any kind of medal. The practicallity behind Olympic TKD does not appeal to me at all. yamesu Posted January 28, 2005 Share Posted January 28, 2005 i went to the semi-finals for the boxing at the sydney2000 olympics, 5th row seats, hehehe. there was blood......wasnt really expecting that. i wouldnt compete in the olympics, even if they held karate.
