patusai Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 Isshin Ryu uses the kata mentioned except for Wanduan, Rohai, Ananko and Patsai. They use Seian, Chinto and Kusanku but not the versions of the kata mentioned. The Isshinryu version of Seisan is, I believe I heard, is clsoe to the Matsumura version. The Kusanku used is Chatan Yara Kusanku ( think that I have this right). The version of Chinto used I am not sure I ever knew. I heard that Shimabuku did at one time have a Passai in his list and some claim to have been taught it and very well may have.
