Beer-monster Posted January 11, 2005 Share Posted January 11, 2005 Hi all Does anybody know if there is a term in Japanese (martial arts) that is equivalent to the Chinese term Jing: refering to the expression of chi (ki) as martial power? Thanks to anyone who can help. Oh and feel free to use this thread to post other equivalent chinese to japanese to korean MA terms, it may be of use to others who study and/or research different styles Mind, body and fist. strangepair03 Posted January 18, 2005 Share Posted January 18, 2005 I know in okinawan karate their is the term "chinkuchi" which translates to something like muscle, bone, power or something...same kind of thing.
