Chinese to Japanese: Jing

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Does anybody know if there is a term in Japanese (martial arts) that is equivalent to the Chinese term Jing: refering to the expression of chi (ki) as martial power?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Oh and feel free to use this thread to post other equivalent chinese to japanese to korean MA terms, it may be of use to others who study and/or research different styles :karate:

I know in okinawan karate their is the term "chinkuchi" which translates to something like muscle, bone, power or something...same kind of thing.
