What You're *Really* Thinking In Class...

Well I have Attention Deficit Disorder (A.D.D) which means that I only concentrate on stuff I am interested in - and I am interested in Martial Arts - so I am usually focussing....but on the flipside of this when I am in an "Advanced Networks, Security and Forensic techniques lecture at uni I am usually thinking about the lesson from Ju Jitsu I had the night before.

The only time I can really fit in to the original question is when my instructor starts talking about fire, wood and water points and all that business. I am not disrespecting it but it sounds so wierd that I have often just thought to myself....

"Is he making this sh*t up???"

Then he does it on someone and they damn near pass out and I usually decide that it isn;t worth asking - just go with it!

lol

It was something to do with constricting the flow of the life energy down the conception vessels!

Which run over the skull and down the front and back!

He was going on about all this stuff that just confused me a little - cos a little later he started going on about his fire melts metal and water fights fire and stuff again - and I was lost!

LOL! Sounds interesting... though quite confusing if you're not used to hearing stuff like that.

I know what you're saying and it saddens me to hear a MA student say that. Just curious, how old are you?

Just so you know, I'm 14.

Sorry, i know it's the humor section of the forums, but I can't stand that.

Anyway, just so I don't bring down the entire discussion...

I pay attention all the time in MA class, it's at school where my mind tends to drift, many times to martial arts. I've had some of my best ideas for possible bunkai application during Math class :)

wtKempostudent we are human ya know, nobody's perfect 24/7. i know if i'm in the mood, i'm thinking of you know what straight out...but i dont' let it effect my concentration. it may not be the ppl in class eighter, it may just be cause.....i'm human. though the ppl in class tend to initiate it some times. lol just wait till you're older wtKempostudent

also i think in class, how much my body hurts, however i hurt it that session.

and when is the next class that i can come to. *that's a big one*

I'm not saying that I'm perfect 24/7, but I really don't see the place for things like that in a MA class. Oh well, I guess I'll wait till i get older...

BTW, I'm human too, so I know what you're talking about, but I can sincerely say, I have never thought something like that about anyone WHILE IN CLASS (I have met some of my classmates outside of the dojo however )
