Hudson
Luckily we meditate before class at which point I tell my brain to shut up and start listening. The game of chess is much like a swordfight; you must think before you move.
Waylander
On one occassion I remember thinking during a particularly gruelling partner stretching session: "I hope I don't fart..." mindsedgeblade
Hmm- on nights I have exams in other classes it's usually "Does that clock say six or seven?" After eight three minute bag rounds and a few rolls (forward and backward and sideways) and crab walk and bear crawl, and wind sprints... things get a little crooked. /-} The best a man can hope foris, over the course of his lifetime,to change for the better. Taku-Shimazu
I don't have any problems because my uncles teaches me so I pay full attention, but I do say "Can we stop now?" And he says; "No! You will never learn if you don't practise!" The cool summer breeze passes me by.
Jag-Isshinryu
I like to think I'm completely focused on the class and instructor, but the times I remember drifting off were quite humourous. Once, I remember stopping half-way through a kata, thinking about a certain girl I'd seen earlier that day. A greenbelt I know well asked me what was up, so I told him. We shared a healthy laugh. Lure with bait; Strike with chaos.~ I: Making of Plans, "Art of War", Sun Tzu.
June1
LOL! Oh, man! In the middle of a kata! My my! Didn't your instructor notice? Kool Kiais: ICE! DIE! KITES! ShotokanKid
That's pretty funny... You laughed mid-kata? Same question as June 1 "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
