MysticRonin101 Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Hi, I'm sure most of us here have heard that song "in the air tonight" by Phil Collins. Anyways, just thought that song sounded perfectly like one of those 80's martial arts flicks, especially the ones with Van Damme. You know, where the warrior is training intensively by himself. I'm curious, was that song actually in one of those films? Because if it wasn't, then it would've fitted in. I train with that song on sometimes, it's cool. What do you guys think?
MysticRonin101 Posted January 4, 2005 Author Posted January 4, 2005 guess no one here is really a fan of those 80's flicks.
seersin Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 I'm not a big fan,but I kinda see where your coming from. ISAIAH 53:5
PrideampPoise Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Not a bad song, but I don't remember it being used for a training sequence in a movie. I can see where it could be... lots of slow motion, sweat/blood droplets, etc. But we all have our songs we like to train to sometimes... I even remember a thread on that somewhere around here.
krzychicano Posted February 9, 2005 Posted February 9, 2005 That is a cool song. I like how it starts out slow and then kicks up the beat at the end so I see what you mean about training with it. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
