June1 Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Hello! Can anyone post a link to a site that will give one a whole map of the pressure points on the human body, as well as what happens when you strike each one? If so, much appreciated! Kool Kiais: ICE! Cobosan Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 http://www.acuxo.com/meridianPictures.asp Here u have all the pressure points. If you are interested in pressure point fighting than look at Ryukyu kempo. I train it myself and can tell u some of the basics if you want. First take a look at the page Kempo Arnis Slovenia - Training under sensei Borut Kincl begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting ( 6. Unfortunately you cannot hope to pick it up on a forum thread. Its not something u can learn overnight, it takes years of training before u can master just some of the techniques. Our trainer is just about to pass the masters exam ( 1.dan ) and he must know the exact piosition , the meaning, the name and the characteristics of over 400 points. Only 30-40 are commenly used because of their "appropriate position" ( which is easily reachable and can be a part of some sort of combination ). Therfore i am sorry but u have to see it , feel it to believe it. If you want to see some demonstrations go to our club website http://www.rksi.net/default.cfm?Jezik=Si&Kat=0301 here u can see some of the basic knockout techniques. please DO NOT try this yourself cause its not just a bunch of punching and kicking, and also u have to know how to handle the situation after the opponent falls down otherwise the conciquences could not be pleasant. wingedsoldier Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 understood. it's a rule that accompanies all techniques i've been taught. so, when you strike a point, is it more of just applying a little pressure or do you strike hard.
