KnifeHand Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 I got a wavemaster for Christmas, so I plan to work that at least a half hour a day. Speed, combinations, timing...anything just so I'm doing something. I also plan to get to my Saturday morning class every week, which will get me in class 3 times a week. I've been in martial arts for 6 months, and I know now that I want and need to get serious about it. Oh yeah, it would be nice to actually be able to stretch and touch my toes. shotochem Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 To get better each and every class. 100% all the time. Drop 10 lbs. and improve conditioning for grading. I'm in the same boat as Laurie. I'll make it, no matter how much tape bandages and ibuprofren it takes!!! Pain is only temporary, the memory of that pain lasts a lifetime.

Sandhoppa Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 To train hard and persistently without giving up just because I cannot do something. That was my problem last year. Improve my health in conjunction with the MA training so that I will be effective on the mat during classes. That includes shedding this fat and toning my muscles up and increasing my endurance. Also to train with Master Jules as many times as I can The sand bringeth and the sand taketh away...Disciple of Master Jules' Temple of Sand Dojo
