Its is a sword art but in its entirety it is the art of drawing your sword cutting in onw movement and then shaking off the blood and resheathing your sword all with complete fluidity. There are also many different styles of kenjitsu which is traditional japanese sword . the kobudo i study is ryukyu kobudo in motobu ha shi-to ryu . we study the following Bo Sia tonfa nunchaku kama My sensei also studies tenshin ryu kenjutisu . We study: Rokushakubo (6ft staff) Nunchaku Sai Tsun-kuwa (tonfa) kama Iyeku (oar) ^In that order That is up to black belt level.
