girlfriends: need help getting one

Ah, ive not really had a serious relationship. Im not ugly and a lot of girls like me, but it always seems to be...how can i say this without being harsh....the girls that aren't my type. And when i like a girl and i find out she likes me, i seem to go off them really bad i started to see all the faults in them. Am i just in it for the hunt not the kill? I think i have problems with commitment. I have said this in another thread. I have no problems talking to girls confidently/charming/funny when i have no physical/emotional attraction to them. But once i like em i am still able to charm/beconfident/be funny but im nervous as hell!!!! BTW im 16.
