Using the Emei piercers..

I have been coming along with the weapon. It's more about creation and self expression from your journey as a Martial Artist. Really with anything in Martial Arts it's about that.

But for me who's never trained in any type of Kung Fu or weaponry like that I been able to manipulate it well and effective. I plan to create a form with them.

that site and the videos on it has just confirmed all of my worst fears regarding the national chinese sport wushu.

earth is the asylum of the universe where the inmates have taken over.

don't ask stupid questions and you won't get stupid answers.

If my memory serves me correctly, these are some clips taken from a pretty cheesy late 70s documentary on Wushu.

A lot of those moves seem to be just kinda lumped together from acrobatic floor routines... many of those are just compulsary wushu moves. Not too much to do with the emei themselves. Sometimes you can find good stuff hidden within those forms, but in this case, i think you would have to dig way too deep for way too long.

I still think it's an interesting weapon with some potential... That ain't it though :)

I'm no longer posting here. Adios.

That has nothing to do with the weapon. I didn't watch but from what you guys are saying I guess they are bad.

The weapon definately has potential. I'm gonna watch to see if there is anything i could take when creating a form with these.

I watched the video and I understand how some people feel about Wushu forms. But you know that's their style and system so what makes it any less than the next Martial Art.

They perform but also have the combat effectiveness. I didn't really liked what I saw except a few moves. I want mine to spin like that but I'm gonna have to mess with the screws.

Anyway the only things I really liked was the spinning but I would do it to manipulate the weapon for attacks not show. Her acrobats and athleticism was nice also.
