younwhagrl
In our system of Youn Wha Ryu we have 9 degrees of black belt, because our Grandmaster (Grandmaster Han) didn't want to accept an honorable 10th dan..so he stayed a 9th dan. •JUST TRAIN•Student of the Han Method"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. Balrog
Anyone personally know any very high dan ranks? i.e. 8th and 9th dan?Yes. I know Grandmaster S. H. Lee of the ATA and see him on a regular basis. I also know Chief Masters Robert Allemier, In Ho Lee and William Clark as well. I've trained with all of them in some way over the years, and they are tremendous instructors.
MasterH
Come to think of it I did meet EGM H. U. Lee, and trained under him as well. He was an 8th & 9th Degree at the time, seeing that he was awarded his 10th Degree after his death.-Adam Adam (Fluffy) Huntleyhttps://www.rleeermey.comhttps://www.martialartsindustry.net
