aefibird
WOW! You're that passionate you had to say it twice? Just kidding. Seriously though does anyone find themselves beggining to become obbsessive with their art? I'm just wondering if it was time I gave the nut house a phone call... My pc obviously thinks I have lots of important things to say... practically every message I've posted today has been a double post! Anyway, I don't find myself beginning to be obsessed with my art... I AM obsessed with my art(s)! Nothing wrong with a little (or a lot) of obsession IMO. As to your point about calling the 'nut house', maybe they could provide a specialist hospital wing for all of us who are obsessed with karate and other martial arts?? At least then we could all train together and be obsessed together! "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers! elliotspirrett
Now you KNOW that would be fun. An entire wing dedicated to martial arts. Would anyone else be reminded of the Island from Enter the Dragon, at this point? No? Oh just me then... Still would be fun. Like having an entire day dedicated to martial arts. That would also be very cool. Hmmm, like a convention, but free, and worldwide! WE SHOULD INVENT IT! Or I could just go back to wishing and NOT invent it. aefibird
The only trouble with hospitals for me these days is that I can't think of them without thinking of the TV series Green Wing... elliotspirrett
HAHAHA! Possibly the funniest hospital related program IN THE WORLD! Even funnier than the acting on Casualty. Which frankly is poor... Practice more if you wanna pass that grading!Brown (2th kyu) Trodai Karate, training for Black. Ready to become a Capoeirista once more. aefibird
Yes, Casualty is dire. For those who don't know, Casualty is a very long-running British TV series set in an A&E (ER) department of a hospital. If you've never seen it you havn't missed much... "Was it really worth it? elliotspirrett
But we ARE drifting from the subject. Hawkeye
I originally joined a cardio/kickboxing class at my local dojo to combat the dreaded 'you are not 18 anymore' middle-age (almost!!) spread. After watching the Karate classes, I decided that it looked like something I could get into. I was surprised how engrossing Karate becomes. Every timely action will bring results ...
