i know its an old question and most people will say "well, we can't tell you whats good for you" but i made that as the titel so everybody gets the jist of what i'm asking, i've been looking around for a martial arts and on a thread i just wrote some one said that kung for is mainly your punching and kicking. not alot of grappling. thats what i'm looking for, i want a martial art that you actually fight and focuses mainly on punches and kicks. i've also heard that there are different types of kung fu, what do you think a good type would be for me? thanks

What you are looking for in kung fu is "Chin Na" or Eagle Claw. we also have escapes and an internal series of techniques for slipping holds, grabs, locks and resisting throws without dislocating or breaking yourself.
