Although I understand that those who participate in fights such as the UFC are great athletes is it just me or does watching two guys roll around on the ground get boring.....I will take a good kickboxing fight anytime...

yeah some ufc and pride fights are really boring if you get a grappler vs a grappler, it doesnt really become a mixed martial arts event its just a jiu jitsu match, and it does get a little boring to see guys in the mount for about 2 minutes straght

I agree...I tend to not wanna waste my money on prize fights that last 2 min...and watching a bunch of fat guys roll around on the mat gets about as fun to watch as getting a root canal.

 

I think they should mix the fight according to the style, but that would kinda negate the purpose of a "reality" event, but oh well.

yes it does get boring after awhile inless you can't get bored of it becasue your watching someone you like and are all active :nod:

True rolling around on the ground does get boring. There are so many more techniques that can be used. It is a waste of good training if they've actually received it. :karate:
