SaiFightsMS Posted January 17, 2002 Posted January 17, 2002 This is interesting and very thought provoking. It is a very deep and extremely serious subject. I can see both points of view. Cultural differences are something that is easy to overlook and easy to misunderstand. The age of chivalry may not be dead, but it can be deadly.

Slider Posted January 17, 2002 Posted January 17, 2002 I can see where he might see the need to defend his wife if the perps were doing something that made her feel like she was in danger....I just feel that it could have been handled differently. Im sure his wife is up crying every night wishing he would have just walked away with her. My last comment on this matter Hasta!! Slider Check out "Koldsteel" Enterprises. Jiggy9 Posted January 17, 2002 Posted January 17, 2002 I think I know what Angus is talking about .... It's the sort of attitude you used to see in the Australian cricket team. Apart from the fact they've just lost 3 in a row @ home.. Shotokan Karate Black Belt ==Defend the path of Truth==

Angus Posted January 17, 2002 Author Posted January 17, 2002 I told u that you wouldn't understand, but there's no need to be bratty about it. Angus [ This Message was edited by: Angus on 2002-01-17 16:07 ] Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
Joecooke007 Posted January 17, 2002 Posted January 17, 2002 This thread is indeed very sad and touching. Nobody deserves to die in a street fight. Nobody Boards don't hit back. -Bruce Lee
Jiggy9 Posted January 18, 2002 Posted January 18, 2002 Hey! I never meant it as a joke...Im really serious.
