SaiFightsMS
Among the many clubs Yahoo has to offer is one Women in Shotokan. It is a club for women with all ranks and all ages of Shotokan represented. :pony: I put the link for this group in that site so I think I should reciprocate and let any females in here know that the other group is ready and waiting. Last link I tried to post took 5 tries to get it to work. And you can be sure there is a link there to us here at KarateFourms.

LeaF
I am quoting the discription of the clubDescription Category: Karate I've started this group for all women involved in Shotokan karate. This will be a place to share our experiences, goals and ideas about this martial art. It may even be a place to develop friendships. Open to women only. I don't really see or understand why the club should be limited to women, I mean if some guys came up with a club for men only that would be concidered sexist... I mean really what could women possibly talk about shotokan that wouldn't have nay realivence to men training in the same art...Are we going to have a female only forum on these boards too just because there is sooo much out there that only woemn can understand and communicate...frankly I find this insulting perhaps someone could explain the reasoning behind it to me Goju Ryu Karate-do and Okinawan Kobudo, 17 Years Old 1st kyu Brown Belt in in Goju Ryu Karate-do, & Shodan in Okinawan KobudoGiven enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. It is the true warrior who can master both....and surpass the result.I AM CANADIAN
G95champ
Leaf its that old double standard. LOL.... Women want to join all boys schools like the Citidal but we can't join their clubs. LOL.... You will learn that all minorites want the benifits of things like Title IX and equal protection laws but they don't want to give it to others. The old Constutional argument between Jefferson and Hamilton. The party in power don't want to change the rules. The one out of power does. LOL..... (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
