I like the headlock hip throw and the ippon seinoge. If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!

TKDguy I didnt post in this because I thought it was for Judo throws, anyway my favourite throw is a kotegaeshi. http://jedimc.tripod.com/ma.html - what MA do you do, this is my poll. UseoForce
Is there a site for animations of Aikido throws? My respect for Aikido increased dramatically after I actually learned more about it. You Akidokas (can I say that?) actually share many techniques with Combat Hapkido practitioners, with minor differences. If it works, use it!If not, throw it out! For the record, I don't like it- at least not the traditional version. It's too straight forward and very telegraphic. There are some variations of it that I do like, however. username9
Ok - I am trying to get the japanese names together to answer this.I have a few faves:Kata Guruma / Shoulder Wheelhttp://www.judoinfo.com/images/animations/blue/kataguruma.htmHarai Goshi / Sweeping Hip(or Sweeping loin)[urlhttp://https://www.judoinfo.com/images/animations/blue/haraigoshi.htm[/url]Hane Goshi / Spring Hiphttp://www.judoinfo.com/images/animations/blue/hanegoshi.htmIppon Seonagi / One Arm Shoulder Trowhttp://www.judoinfo.com/images/animations/blue/ipponseoi.htmand finally:Tawara Gaeshi / Rice Bail - although at Ju Jitsu we do this move slightly differently to the move shown in the link here. We do this as an offensive move almost - with the head hooked!http://www.judoinfo.com/images/animations/blue/tawaragaeshi.htmOnly thing is - looking through throws reminds me that I just love throwing FULL STOP!
