GojuRyu Shawn Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 TY. I think that being a white belt takes the longest, cause you need to learn basic blocks, throws, arm breaks, neck snaps(i take adult classes, BTW), and strikes. And theres 3 stances you need to learn. God my father can't even handle sheikadache. Took me 5 months but I think i was ready in just 4 months. Meh, onto new and better things i suppose. I'm gonna stick with my school till i'm 2nd or 3rd dan black belt then open up my own school with my best friend. Current: Yellow Belt in GojuRyu. White Belt in Kabudo.

Hawkeye Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Congratulations!!! I was so excited when I earned my yellow belt. It felt great knowing that I was progressing and I couldn't wait to start learning new things. Best of luck in the future! Every timely action will bring results ... Without difficulty. Every untimely endeavor will fail ... If the moment is premature or if the right moment is missed. - The Tree Poem
