throwing straight?

is it possable to throw say... a knife with out having it spin. like you throw it in a strait line?

Get a dart- something with a point on one end and fins on the other.

 

You can throw a knife straight, but I don't think you can keep it from turning over endways. There are throwing knives/bladed weapons that are designed to allways have a point or sharp edge leading, but they still turn over.
