I was rewatching the untimable classic Enter The Dragon again yesterday, and towards the beginning Bruce Lee is telling a boy to kick him. Along with the famous quote "Don't think, feel" he also says "I said emotional content, not anger". I thought about this for a while, and I was unsure as to the meaning of this. Maybe thats what I did wrong, by thinking about it, but I was just wondering what do you guys suspect he means through emotional content, and feeling not thinking?

Those are not his words, they are lines from a script.... in a movie....with bad actors.

Yes, but we all love kung fu movies with their voiceovers

Bruce Lee had a lot of personal input to the script however, I havn't read the Tao of Jeet Kune Do or anything, but perhaps he was trying to put another of his own teachings into a movie? It wouldn't be the first time.

There are different ways to feel. There are emotions - feelings. There is also feeling - perceiving.

Many blind people feel when they are getting close to a wall.

There are other ways to feel too. But I got woke up too early to think straight.

Maybe someone else can explain what I mean a little more clearly?
