wrestlingkaratechamp Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Professional Boxing needs ANY face right now. lol MMA is taking over Where Vitali when you need him?
ravenzoom Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 It's sometimes hard for an athlete to quit on a career that has brought so many highs and given you a legend status. This happens in every sport. I agree with you that Hollyfield should really quit, but I'm not sure he can by himself. Lennox Lewis did the right thing, but it's not the same for everyone. Hollyfield gave out his last real fight vs. Lennox Lewis in the second fight (which I actually thought he won). I think that was the last real bit of energy that was left in him. Let's not forget he always fought top contenders, unlike many other boxers who most of the times fought overmatched opponents (hummm Roy Jones - I'm not dismissing his talent though). I think the hard fights have taken their toll on good ol' Hollyfield.
baronbvp Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Don't be holding Mike Tyson up as any role model. Holyfield's still missing a piece of his ear. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.
