Mu Ryuk Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 I am now going to rant about crap. So, I hurt my shouder on Tuesday. No big deal, just tweaked the muscle, so I was gonna sit out class for a few days. My friend Erin comes to hang out with me on Wednesday night, since I was extremely bored. I asked out Erin God knows how long ago and all her friends told her to say no (can't say I blame them). So I'm hanging out with her and I just kiss her. Why? Because I'm an idiot. She, however, reciprocates. And now we're going out. Yippee. Yahoo. Except I probably already screwed things up, because I'm pathetically obsessive, especially when I'm injured and can't train. And she's awesome, and I want to spend all my time with her, but there is no way she feels nearly as strongly as I do. But it doesn't really matter, because she's moving in two weeks anyway!!! Why can't humans have the capability to do nothing but eat, sleep and train 24/7? I really would not mind some sparring right now. Real sparring. Not light contact point sparring WHICH IS ALL WE EVER DO!! GAH!! And this is why all Martial Artists should practice safety first! If you get injured, it creates problems far worse than not being able to train for a few days!! Argh. Tang Soo! Passion transcends pain.

I dunno though... you say you want "real sparring", yet you injured yourself in point sparring? Dude, just hang out with that "reciprocating" hottie, and forget about sparring for the next two weeks. "Pain heals, chicks dig scars...Glory lasts forever." Great movie. I didn't injure myself in point sparring. I injured myself by tripping...I peeled out and didn't have enough room to put my arms out and roll, so it was either tweak my shoulder or break my nose and probably my jaw. I didn't want to risk my good looks (not) so I went on my shoulder. I can't take two weeks off, we have a tournament in less than two weeks, and it's not that bad anyway. The problem isn't her moving. I have been friends with her for about four years, they move a lot. Once they moved for, literally, a week. The problem is that I already probably messed it up because I am obsessive and want to be with her all the time, and she doesn't feel nearly as strongly about me and I do about her.
