Wisdom teeth

Randy

Recommended Posts

I had both of my lower wisdom teeth impacted and very infected. :o

I waited too long (very bad dental plan :( )and it spread to an ear infection in both ears and a sore throat. I had the buggers growing in at a 90 degree angle. Oh the pain!!!! :o It sounded like pulling a rusty nail out of a board when I had them pulled. 1 Week later I was able to eat solid food again......

Pain is only temporary, the memory of that pain lasts a lifetime.

I had a tooth out last week - I got whacked in the face at karate and it caused one of my teeth to crack and an abcess to develop under the tooth. Not pleasent. :dead:

I personally haven't had to have my wisdom teeth removed, although my brother did when he was about 18 or 19. He looked like a hamster for a week afterwards and would only eat soup, milkshake or melted chocolate for a fortnight. Personally, I think he played on it for as long as possible in order to get the maximum amount of sympathy from mum and dad! :D

Two weeks; that kid did get by with pulling something. I was eating most things normally within 3 days and they did all four of mine at once and then had to sew my gums up when they were done.

make sure you have the pain medication before you go under!!!!! dont go get it after.

Hah, I had mine out yesterday. It's actually not as bad (pain wise) as I would have thought. The pain killers they give you work pretty well. Ice cream helps also. The biggest pain is not being able to train..but then again I don't feel much like training at the moment. :P

Hope it all works(ed) out!

I have to admit those painkillers they prescribed were addicting-ly good!!!

Couldn't even function on the stuff.... :brow:

Hope you feel better soon Noob! :)

Thanks! :) I'm feeling quite a bit better than yesterday already..still off solid foods, though. :(

Haha, I know what you mean. I nearly fell down the stairs going to get a drink last night. Haha. I could still probably pull off a break fall, but I wouldn't want to test that out. :P
