The techniques and skills they learn are acting and stunt performing. It's like debating whether theatre acting is a martial art for 7 pages. Rich said it best with his lumberjack competition analogy, and I'm glad to see 47 was playing 'devil's advocate' as he put it, I was starting to get seriously worried!
