Hi shukokai2000, I'm also another Shukokai Karate person in the UK!

I agree that there are not that many books on Shukokai compared to other styles, heres a list that you might want to have a search for:

Karate-do (by Master Tani...197?)

Shukokai Karate Kata (Tommy Morris 1982)

Roaring Silence (Michael Clarke 1986)

Karate-the Complete Course (Tommy Morris 1987)

Shukokai Karate Combinations ("KOA" 1976)

The Kobe-Osaka Story (Tommy Morris 1979)

Basic Shukokai Handbook (SKU 1982)

Shukokai Pinan Kata (Stan Knighton 1995)

Fundementals of Karate-do (Keiji Tomiyama 1987)

The only book in this list that I have is Stan Knighton's Shukokai Pinan Kata, I got it from https://www.martialartsuperstore.com

If your after more Shukokai info, download free Kata videos etc. check out the excellent website of the Traditional Shukokai Karate Association here in the UK - https://www.tska.co.uk

Depends what branch of Shukokai you train with. Not that they vary much - a DVD has been produced by one of the guys at my club (he's a 3rd Dan) on the Kata's and applications. I haven't seen it yet but apparently it is good.

e-mail me if you want to chat about it - I also have a post discussing Shukokai on here in the karate Section.

Your instructor doesn't happen to be Norris Pierce or Paul Graham does it?
