could someone some up the basic concepts of kenpo for me?

i see the term"american" in front a lot.

I'm currently looking for a new dojo and any info you guys could provide or a nice synopsis of the style would be appreciiated.

Well, in my school to sum it up, multiple striking, ending the fight quickly and painfully, flowing from each movement easily. There is also alot of reaction based movements, which my sound ineffective at first but there are so many ways of doing some techniques and modifications that almost evry angle gets covered. Hope that helps :karate:
