MenteReligieuse Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 if you see buddah on the road kill him What is that supposed to mean?
longarm25 Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 old proverb PhilRyu Kyu Christian Karate Federation"Do not be dependent on others for your improvement. Pay respect to God and Buddhabut do not reley on them." Musashi
Hudson Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 I think it'd probably be one of those Buddhist koan type things you have to figure out for yourself to reach enlightenment, I don't know for sure. Now, maybe you Shotokan people can help me out. Wasn't Funakoshi's Second Master Itosu a rather large bellied man but was undeniably powerful? The game of chess is much like a swordfight; you must think before you move.
TeaL Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 if you see buddah on the road kill him What is that supposed to mean? Im not familiar with it, but heres my reasoning: Buddah has been dead for a long time. If you see buddah, its a fake, posing to be him. ? just a shot in the dark
