hobz
Rather then fear death, i fear "what is death?" Ever just sit there and wonder, without hope? If for some reason, there's no such thing as heaven or after life.... what is there? Something to put in your heads... what if death was essentially, you're still living just cant move or prove you are? So you're stuck in a casket for who knows how long... Just a thought Rule #1: Play the game to the limit. Damn the consequences.
broomhilda000
Believe in god and he will save you, I don't fear death but I want to live longer, time is time and if it is my time I will follow the lord. Be as a tranquil pool of water in the woods. Calm, collected, reflecting on its surface all that is around it. Make your own mind such a quiet mirror reflecting the mind of the opponent. Even as your partner's impulse to attack passes through his mind it should be reflected in you.The safest battle is the one that is never fought
Kung Fu Hamster
What makes me wonder is what is the meaning of life? Is there no reason? :-s And another thing I was thinking of was if we aren't afraid of life then we would never be scared of anything? Because we are only scared of things because they might be dangerous and kill us. Therefore not being afraid of dying makes you not being afraid of anything therefore you are unstoppable. No fear of death = No Fear = Unstoppable ^_^ At the moment I'm trying to do that ^_^ So I'm kinda afraid of death! ^_^ Everybodies Going Kung Fu Fighting! Yah Hoocha! Fenris-wolf
Everybody fears something. Courage is to admit it, face it, and conquer it. Wow, that was soppy! The fear of death is innate, don't expect that to go away. Likely in a fight you'll be so high on adrenalin though that it's not a major factor. You really want to work on fear? Try conquering the fear of pain. ie: the instinctive physical fear that everybody gets. Let Us Turn The Jump Rope In Accord With Socialist Principles! cymry
I do not want to die as I'm only very young, but the thought of death is not frightening. I am a Christian therefore I believe that, sins forgiven, I will go to a better place than life on Earth. That said, if there was any attempt on my life, I would fight to the end to survive. KwicKixJ1
i was looking forward to death until not too long ago. i think what made me want to stick around was me coming to grips with the fact that there are a lot of things i'm not going to be able to achieve. and the "you can make any dream come true" thing was what was really making me feel worthless. because there were a lot of things i failed at. besides a few karate tournaments, there wasn't really much i accomplished. and academically i'm not the brightest. so a couple of weeks ago... i accepted my fate, and agreed with life that martial arts was where my talents are... and pursuing a prestigious degree (i'm attempting a dr. in pharmacology) is probably not something i'm going to accomplish. i got a job at a local video game store, started taking my training seriously, and told my fiancee that i'm probably not going to be the richest person on the planet, but i'm going to make an attempt at happiness my own way. so i guess now, in a way i've learned to be aware of death. because now i know what i have to lose.
