shotochem Posted January 2, 2002 Posted January 2, 2002 I am glad I have found such a civilized forum!!! I am 33 and have been training in Shotokan Karate for 1 1/2-2yrs. I started out with my son. He quit. I stayed. I guess Im geting senile in my old age...pain is joy!!!! Pains!!! Strains!!! Sprains!!! Broken bones!!! I love it!!!! Pain is only temporary, the memory of that pain lasts a lifetime.

You're gonna feel right at home here ... there are quite a few of us here that feel as you do regarding their training. You've only just begun!
