dippedappe
yeah, and was it before the backindury? Because after that episode with the back, he became a much better fighter than he ever was before.
Drunken Monkey
"Yes, but does that mean that Parker "beat" Bruce?" well, i might be a bit dim but all i read in those lines was that bruce lee stayed at parker's place for a year during which they exchanged ideas. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite." Kickbox
It proabably means that Bruce Lee learned a few things from GM Ed Parker. After all Bruce was only about 25 at the time. What is interesting is that after Bruce moved out he began to creat JKD.

unknownstyle
thats pretty cool, i had heard that they were close friends "Live life easy and peacefully, but when it is time to fight become ferocious."
BLueDevil
If you read GM Parker's "infinite insights" book 1 he talks alot about his time with Bruce and how alot of people misinterpret Lee's ideas and about Parker pointing out the limitations of his Wing Chun stance. I actually read a few of Bruce Lee's books and once I read Parker's books they actually complemented each others ideals really well. I recommend if you can find them read them all.PS Parker actually introduce Lee to the world at his first world Karate tournament (where he demonstrated the 1 inch punch) There is no teacher but the enemy. LoneRanger
hahaha, im not sure if you mean what i think you mean but i read that as "haha I win, now clean my room!" if this is the case, then lol i love it... It stems from mastery of oneself-the ability, developed through self-discipline, to be calm, fully aware, and completely in tune with oneself and the surroundings. Then, and only then, can a person know himself."
Adonis
They probably learned from each other. Diffrence with Lee and Parker was parker created more of a structure where lee wanted to focus on ideas and concepts. Which in that point wasn't very structured so other people just took his moves that he was teaching at the time and declared them Gosepel. Thats why you get those diffrent sects in the JKD world.
