mattys Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 I realize that there have been a great many threads partaining to this topic, but where is the best place in the US to purchase Shureido sai? The best I think I've found is WWMAS, but I'd like advice from someone who knows first-hand. Thanks!
karatekaBR86 Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 https://www.karateshorinkan.com Best prices I've seen yet. I've purchased two sets of shureido sai from that site (chrome natural) as well as some kobudo cases. Shipping price is exceptionally low. And customer service is exceptionally high...Only problem is, they are always low on stock, and some items have to be back-ordered. - Nick
harleyt26 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 http://www.shureidousa.com/about.html All Shureido products are brought into the U.S. through Shureido U.S.A.,the owners are directly related to the Okinawan owners in Naha.I was purchasing my Shureido supplies through Kamakazi in Spain but the California store found out and stopped Frank at Kamakazi of Spain from importing Shureido brand items to the U.S..Spains prices were lower and the shipping was less and faster.I love Shureido equipment but I hate monopolies, they eliminate our freedom of choice by removing competition. migi kamae, migi bo kihon ichi

He's a real great guy. He's pretty modest (I thought the site was owned by Kyoshi Noujaim, but Kyoshi Noujaim is actually his instructor). Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/
tommarker Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Shureido sai are at the top of my Christmas list. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
aefibird Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 They're at the top of my list also, but I don't think that Santa will be bringing me a pair this year. Oh well, I'll just have to drop hints to the Birthday Fairy instead!! "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
Kicks Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 I contacted a man in Okinawa who sell on ebay. He got me a pair of Shureido Sai that I paid $146.00. See my auction at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3697852049 If you can't find what you want in the US, try this guy. when you create the world's largest trailer park, you're going to have tornadoes
