JEM618 Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I got this off their web site: The LINXX Academy of Martial Arts Linking the world's most effective martial arts styles; Linking the three critical elements of self-defense — striking, weapons, and grappling; and linking the energy of the mind, body, and spirit. I am particularly interested in this part of the statement: and linking the energy of the mind, body, and spirit. Can anyone tell me how this part of the system is taught?
kle1n Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Linking the world's most effective martial arts styles there are no most effective martial arts styles. but i have never heard of it according to the website though the instructor seems to be good. Be everything. Be nothing.
Shane Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Never heard of it, but that means nothing A True Martial Arts Instructor is more of a guide than anything, on your way to developing the warrior within yourself!!!!!
thaiboxerken Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 It's a mix of Kali, Silat, JKD Concepts, Brazillian Jujitsu and Muay Thai. "and linking the energy of the mind, body, and spirit." I think Cucci's opinion is that training in his system will help develop your physique and confidence. I think he mistakes confidence and dedication with "spirit". There is no emphasis on meditation or anything like that. shanemm Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 thaiboxerken wouldn't it just be JKD, just more extensive? i mean in theory, not in practicallity... There are two types of people in the world. Those that find excuses and those that find a way.-Unknown
thaiboxerken Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Practically, it is..... but Linxx is more marketable.
