A couple of days ago my mother told me that the night before I screamed in my sleep and when she came in and asked what was wrong I mumbled, "I'm just practicing Gek-Sai" (a goju ryu kata). The weird part is I mumbled it in my sleep. Has anything like this happened to you people?

I've used some of what I've learned in my dreams, but never called out because of it.

Never anything like that although I almost every night my dreams have something to do with the Martial arts, lol. It isnt helped by watching so many martial arts movies this week

LOL Joe. I have awakened many times at night finding myself tangeled in the covers because I was practicing kata in my sleep. :karate: Something only someone who appreciates kata would have happen, I imagine!

but, I have had dreams, (like u sai, involving forms) but i am not practicing them...I am trying to figure out how to use the combos and moves in a sparring match.

If you think you can't, then you must. If you must, you will.
