Just wondering what various opinions are...

 

I think that the hook punch is tough to beat as is the rear leg roundhouse kick. Kicks without spins only...

I think that a straight punch delivers the most force and a side thrust kick deals amazing damage. It's a shame that these attacks are very easy to block and counter. :karate:

The hook punch and reverse roundhouse are my favorites, so agree with ramcalgary...I like the power generated from both. :grin:

I agree with Joe and Moobrack, they deliver incredible power. Amazing on how the Karate people agree on the same techniques.

well I think it would be an roundhouse but I also Have a strong cross :nod:

Karate is a great art to practice and the basic techniques do not have a lot of variation. I am glad that two karate practitioners share the same views, it tells me that what I believe is correct and if it's not, at least I'm not the only one that's wrong. :karate: :nod:

It is pretty cool to come in to look at this thread and see so much agreement.

 

I believe when it comes right down to it most martial arts are built on the same basic moves and without them the rest is of little value.
