Shorin Ryuu Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 I think so (It's been a while since I've seen Heian Sandan...Pinan Sandan doesn't have those snaps). I was referring to that, as well as the fact that most all of the stepping in the Naihanchi kata can be perceived as stomps or kicks (and indeed, many kata are the same way). strangepair03 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I love chinto...but to watch, I would have to say any Uechi-Ryu kata....I would love to study that style one day.....Just wish I could find it in North Jersey A punch should stay like a treasure in the sleeve. It should not be used indiscrimately.Kyan Chotoku Sensei
Kumite988 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 My favorite kata to watch is either Anan, or Gojyushiho(shito version). To perform maybe Chatanyara Kushanku or Suparimpai.
