Ok now that I know that Kung Fu itself is not a martial art, what Chinese martial arts are there? Is there a list or are there a ton or what? Thanks.

There are many, many systems of Chinese martial arts. Too many to even try to list, and many that people here, including myself, have probaby never heard of.

Who me? If me, I understood you. My statement is meant: I am just not looking to debate that with GoGoGo. Meaning that there is someone else that will. Meaning that I wasn't "speaking" of myself.

kung fu refers to chinese martial arts.

 

just as 'country' refers to a particular land mass but not neccessarily somewhere specific like spain.

 

kung fu=chinese martial arts

 

but kung fu isn't a martial art.

 

so, who else on this forum did you have in mind who would debate this topic?

The certain member could be anyone that may have the opinion that kung fu is a martial art. Per a singular distinction, as Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Judo.

but to say "a certain member here (not particulary me) will agrue-debate that" suggests that you have someone specific in mind, else you would've just something like "someone might".
