Ali Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 Anyone know how to master this? What is the different between this and a straight punch? Thank in advance. Darkness grants me pair of dark black eye,Yet I determine to look for Brightness

Shane Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 corkscrew A True Martial Arts Instructor is more of a guide than anything, on your way to developing the warrior within yourself!!!!!
47MartialMan Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 My dad had used one of those many of times.
Coudo Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 This is quite simply a straight punch, when you punch you twist your hand like a corkscrew (actually its the oposite way of turning a corkscrew, but still) when your hand is by your chin it will be with the knuckles facing away from your face. while punching you twist your hand evenly along the punch, and the hand will rotate almost 180 degrees. the twist helps protect your elbow, and it produces a straight snappy punch once your've mastered it. Hope I helped
SevenStar Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 in addition the twist is what causes you to cut your opponent. it's got the same effect as a rug burn, basically.
