Aw, I get it.

 

Man, interpetaion/mis-interpretation is everywhere.

 

Yeah, but that's because some people have taken these terms and distorted them for their own McDojoish ends, and therefore have given a bad name to other people that use them in a proper sense.

Yeah, but I have a friend that owns and operates a McDojo.

 

Although I may not agree on some of the things he does, I do see benefits from his school.

 

Heck, I had even helped him "build" and assisted during the begining and opening of it.

 

In return, he wanted me to work out with him and use the facility F.O.C.

 

At first I had, but soon after, he wanted to give me a "Honary Black Belt".

 

To which, I respectfully declined.

 

Afterwards, because of other reasons, I could no longer go to his school for workouts.

I am perhaps a bit biased, but you should definetly check out a chito-ryu dojo. All chito-ryu dojo's are non profit.

Really. That is very interesting. Do you have any links? I was once heavily ridiculed for having a non-profit school.
