It depends on the mcdojo and the quality and content of the teaching. Sometimes more harm than good can happen

So now we are getting into different levels of McDojos? I suppose it's a loaded question since the definition of McDojo seems to be pretty subjective.

Student: "Why did you hit that guy with a chair? Why didn't you use your karate?"

Master: "Hitting him with a chair was the only karate I could think of at the time."

Lesson: Practice until you don't have to think.

I'm going to the karatefit one again ot watch a full class, and ask some quesions...........what should I ask him?

Ask him when you get to hit pads. Ask him if you get to spar in a relatively short amount of time. Ask him if the sparring is point/hit or if it's continuous.

Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me

I am perhaps a bit biased, but you should definetly check out a chito-ryu dojo. All chito-ryu dojo's are non profit.

Read a book!

1 touch KO... yeah *... 1 STRIKE KO... c'mere and let me show you! :brow:

That is the DIFFERENCE

Yeah but some dojos call is 1 touch KO, when in reality they mean a blow, not a poke with the finger. (Which is more "1 touch irritation technique).
