battousai16 Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 http://www.karateforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=12199 and i think a mod has to come around and do it. "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
Drunken Monkey Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 hehe, thanks for that.... i was going to link that but you beat me to it. pah but don't think that repays for that cd! the gift of zero gravity is priceless! have you been downloading their latest offerings? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
battousai16 Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 of course! not to mention the older stuff that didn't make the cd! did you ever read james clavelle's shogun? i think we may have to have a thank you system similar to that one for the gift of zero gravity, eh? superleeds Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 What did this thread start with again? Read a book!
superleeds Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I think it is an american thing with all these commercial MMA schools. I myself would rather study at a dojo where the art itself is the main focus, not making money. Read a book!
47MartialMan Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Yeah, they are hard to find. A lot of those are not listed-commercially
manuel Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Hello; I trained with Paulie Zink for a few years and I can tell you he is something else. I met his teacher a few times and he is impressive too. A regular class started around 8:00 or 8:30 at night and we would practice Taoist Yoga for three or four hours. Then we would do a hour or so of moving the energy around, and then two to three hours of the Kung fu, both empty handed and with weapons. we usually met only once a week. Paulie was big on doing your homework. Manuel
