no offence ,

but i think movies which take the piss out of martial arts is wrong, and they shouldnt be released, how can somebody take the piss out of something which has been going on for many years and has earned the respect of thousands,

its like what bruce lee taught the western world has been completely forgotten

but if some of you are into this kinda thing,

then no offence and have a blast of a time

It's just a movie, and a spoof at that...

We sometimes have to laugh at things...

The western world has done worse things to the chinese martial arts, like adding belt systems. Which were never a part of chinese systems.

I personally like old chinese movies, some of them being really bad. I don't link they are poking fun at martial arts as much as they are poking fun at the movies themselves.

Case in point:

Enjoy it's pretty bad, but funny, but meant to be serious

guys, i got sense of humour aswell,

only 14 you know, a might not see it, doesnt look too funny more like likings, but in effect movies which take the piss out of kung fu movies like rush hour, are great films, which i loved, so i guess i am being a hypocrit at that

and wow, that is so shocking - i didnt know that the western world introduced belts, i thought they were always there, wow, so then how did the "real martial artists", be distingquished from one ability level to another ,,

"Real martial artists"....what are you asking here?

A belt is not needed to distiguish ones level of ability...

Imagine soccer players running around a pitch with belts so the people could tell who is the best...is something like that needed?

And I should'nt blame the addiction of belts to chinese systems totally on the western world, as there are many non-westerners out their for the money...

if your best friend shows disrespect to martial arts would you stop being his friend and disown him all together. I think not, Movies like this should help people broaden their horizons, not cause bad feeling.

No, I just explain to him that they can be pretty effective and shouldn't be mocked. Once he started doing that Praying Mantis stance etc. doing all the "hi-ya" noises. I had a nice little spar/play fight with him which made him stop taking the piss tho

Now I have him doing Ju Jitsu like a good little boy
