thaiboxerken Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 I just finished a 2 day seminar this weekend. I think Guro is 67 years old now and he still moves very quickly, sharply and smooth. He is a great person and it's always an honor to work with a living encyclopaedia of martial arts. aefibird Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 I've never had the opportunity to train in a seminar with Guro Inosanto, but I'd love to, if I ever could. The man is a living legend. Shane Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 I assume this was his Portland, Oregon seminar. My good friend trains at MKG seattle and he wanted me to head down to that one. I just could not do it with the short notice, but I knew I would be missing out. A True Martial Arts Instructor is more of a guide than anything, on your way to developing the warrior within yourself!!!!!
thaiboxerken Posted October 6, 2004 Author Posted October 6, 2004 He stuck with pretty basic stuff. It's amazing how he can to the basics so fluid and quick that it looks like he's doing more than he is. Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me Apprentice Instructor under Guro Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipinno Martial arts.Certified Instructor of Frank Cucci's Linxx system of martial arts.
thaiboxerken Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 He touched on Jun Fan Gung Fu, it was mostly Kali and Silat. Guro_Jeff Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 I feel it'd be a tremendous experience for all martial artists to attend a seminar by Guro Dan just to experience his teaching. The man is a Legend and has so positively influenced people throughout the world. I've seen him teach at seminars many times and I always feel that there is so much yet that he has to offer folks. He's a really wonderful teacher. Guro Jeff http://ntkali.orghttp://nyccommunity.net
