Jbone1 Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 I haven't watched too many good Ninja movies or many Ninja movies period. Everyone post some so I can go check them out. Heres some that I have watched. Iron Monkey=great American Ninjas=not so great That movie with Christopher Lambert were he's in the wrong place at the wrong time???=Great movie Don't say the Turtles though I like 1 and 2 "What's your style?""My style?""You can call it the art of fighting without fighting."
Drunken Monkey Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 iron monkey's a ninja movie? um, wrong country mate... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Jbone1 Posted September 29, 2004 Author Posted September 29, 2004 I don't know what you mean? But anyway I know the Iron Monkey was a ninja. Explain though wrong country I'm not a Ninja expert. "What's your style?""My style?""You can call it the art of fighting without fighting."
HumanTyphoon Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Well, I'll explain, ninjas are from Japan, and Iron Monkey is from China. They may both wear masks and dark clothing, but that has nothing to do with ninjas. In fact ninjas are just trained assasins used to kill targets, Iron Monkey is a warrior who helps out the people from the corrupt government. There, it kind of settles it.... If you take a crooked path and have to go through a cliff. Either hope there is a bridge, or learn to fly.
battousai16 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 ninjas are japanese, iron monkey is hong kong. just cuz he was in black and jumped around a bit dosen't make him a ninja that said, you're gonna' be really hard pressed to find a good ninja movie... short of the ninja turtles... and even that's more nastalgia than anything. "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
gcav Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 .....In fact ninjas are just trained assasins used to kill targets....quote] This is the general response from those that have never really studied authentic ninjutsu. Ninjas were a lot more than just mere assassins. But I won't go there right now. There is one movie that shows an actual ninja using athentic ninjutsu techniques during the fight scenes and its Shinobi No Mono. You might be able to but a copy of it on the net, but if you are looking for the "Hollywood" type ninja movies you will be disappointed. Ninjutsu is nothing like that crap in the movies. Train like your life depends on it....Because it does.
Jbone1 Posted September 29, 2004 Author Posted September 29, 2004 I see thanks for the history lesson I didn't know Ninjas were from Japan. So in Last Samurai those were Ninjas then? I would like to check out that Shinobi, but were can I find it? "What's your style?""My style?""You can call it the art of fighting without fighting."

Ninjas were a lot more than just mere assassins. . Ahha! But I said "trained". Anyway, some ninjas truly do have martial arts background as you said...I read it off the dictionary. Tomahawk Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Sho Kosagi made a bunch of ninja movies that were really good in the 80's.
Jbone1 Posted October 5, 2004 Author Posted October 5, 2004 You know where I can find them? "What's your style?""My style?""You can call it the art of fighting without fighting."
