Straight Blast
i rarely get those...but then again ive only been in highschool fights and not been attacked by any thugs or gangsters xD Normally I dont really get suprised by who im fighting or how many number of guys there are.I guess because the way I train in a regular basis is similar to real fights...with the exception of some focus mitts. ShirKhan
I frequently get the shakes AFTER an encounter, but not before. My attitude is, adrenaline is my friend. If it's giving you the shakes at an inappropriate time, find an outlet, hit the bag or go work out. You should LOVE adrenaline...let it help you drive forward, not wonder or worry how to bring your shakes under control. Work it out and form a connection in your mind that adrenaline is power on demand.
1kickKO
Adrenaline can also be your worst enemy though, it's good if ya need to run, but if you're fighting it's horrible.

Work it out and form a connection in your mind that adrenaline is power on demand. Not really. The problem there is not everyone realizes how adrenaline works and what it does to you. People tend to look at it as an instant source of limitless power, which is not true. Remember, when adrenaline is flowing, your body is more focused. The extra output you are capable of has to be fueled by something, right? Adrenaline rush will sap most people's energy within the first 30 seconds. This is where conditioning comes into play. yamesu
The extra output you are capable of has to be fueled by something, right? yeah, by adrenaline, thats what the body employs it for. yamesu
Adrenaline shuts your mind down...bad for fighting...good for running. shuts down you mind.......i dont think so, if anything its like a boost for your neurons, opening new pathways for information to reach the brain, and allow quicker response of muscular and vascular systems, including the synthesis of ADP/ATP. sure, it 'could' cause a sensory overload of the brain when too much information hits the CNS, that is, assuming the user is completely unused to adrenal situations. otherwise adrenaline, (epinephrine,) is pretty-much the chemical that chemist mock to make speed, (psuedoephedrine,) and many military agencies mock in the production of combat-drugs. 1kickKO
If you're fighting, and you get a sensory overload, what will happen? You will either stop, or you won't think clearly..not the best thing to have happen while in a conflict.

Adrenaline saps your body's reserves. that's why people tire quickly during an adrenaline rush.
