steveb Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 How is it possible that no one has mentioned The Godfather 1 & 2 yet? All time favorites! Also on my list: The Matrix (1st only) Saving Private Ryan Young Frankenstein the Indiana Jones movies (all of them!) And for spoofs check out Galaxy Quest. Not on my favorites list but a great spoof nevertheless. Res firma, mitescere nescit

GhostlySykanRyu Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 How could I have forgotten Spaceballs?!?! To condemn the art of another is to condemn your own as well. We all have the same origin.
Drunken Monkey Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 hesitant to give SotD a GF? but it's got that kinda of humour in it. that kinda of humour goes a looong way. need i remind you of title pending 2? or of course, U.S vs H.K..... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
foreveryoung001 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 How could I have forgotten Spaceballs?!?! A must see! That slipped my list too. Student: "Why did you hit that guy with a chair? Why didn't you use your karate?"Master: "Hitting him with a chair was the only karate I could think of at the time."Lesson: Practice until you don't have to think.
battousai16 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 hmmmmm... this is true. i think i'll go see it in the theater one more time before i make my decision. god i love that movie; it's so great! someone told me i should check out the office if i dug that, so i'm looking around for it. don't want to actually buy the series, and it's on at weird, erratic times on BBC. any good? "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
Drunken Monkey Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 ...the office. that might've been me.... i've found it to be a good method to tell if someone on the internet really is a brit. but people seem to have caught on about the show now. hmm, maybe i can get a few episodes onto cd for you.... i'll have a look at see what i can do. i'm still in shock at the speed of the post! post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
