Keeping a training diary

Recommended Posts

You write down information that YOU CAN'T get from books, videos, and "online".

For example, three of the arts that I have studied, are not available this way. So, in order to have a reference, for any reason, a record is best. But if you study or look for a "common" art, then I guess you can find these already recorded.

Example from the notes I wrote today about last nights class

"My response for Bil Sao, Front Kick, Triple punch was slow. Also I need to ensure that my feet are firmly planted before I punch.

Chi Sao was tough but I think my technique is improving. When doing Lao Sao trap it was correctly pointed out:

1. Dont need to grab very deep.

......"

All points for myself to remember, work on, or note my positive progress.

Very good.

But I will add more detail. Like what the Sifu said, wore, who else was there. Comments made. Was there humor,? Was it training, etc.

Yeah, and reading old notes can be so nostalgic. :D :karate:

Demons live in the shadows of this world where the uncritical mind fails to shine the light of reason.

Be nice to animals.
