Drunken Monkey Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 this movie is rated GF hey warlock, you missed a bit. It is a historical event... turned into legend through time... re-written to make a better film.... and then put to the screen thousands of years after. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
angelica d Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 Am I right in thinking that Tarantino directed this film? I think I read it on a poster at the cinema, but it was late, I'd had a bit to drink.... "Weaseling out of things is what separates us from the animals . . . except the weasel."- Homer J Simpson
DokterVet Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 No, he didn't. He was just part of bringing it to North America. I thought the movie was incredible; the best I've seen this year. 22 years oldShootwrestlingFormerly Wado-Kai Karate
pentex_camera Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 well yes that movie was asome i agree! the most powerful weapon is a credit card
battousai16 Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 though i do have a question about the story: i was reading a book the other day and it said that the king in question is often regarded as one of the 100 worst tyrants of all time... by the way, it was a book listing out and describing the 100 worst tyrants of all time. the movie made it out that this wasn't so, and that the people of china ultimately came to respect and admire him. is that so? or is the book so? maybe the author was just searching for people after he ran out of tyrants? just wondering, is all... "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
rb Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I saw it last year on vcd, a so so movie aside from the vibrant colours which i thought were spectacular.
gcav Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Cool movie Train like your life depends on it....Because it does.
Goju 4 Life Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 awesome movie the scene where the girl with butterfly knives is trying to kill the female assasin is one of the most beautiful scenes ever. If i had to choose between karate and everything else, I would choose karate so i could beat up whoever made me make the decision and have everything else
47MartialMan Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 though i do have a question about the story: i was reading a book the other day and it said that the king in question is often regarded as one of the 100 worst tyrants of all time... by the way, it was a book listing out and describing the 100 worst tyrants of all time. the movie made it out that this wasn't so, and that the people of china ultimately came to respect and admire him. is that so? or is the book so? maybe the author was just searching for people after he ran out of tyrants? just wondering, is all... Was the tyrant Shuang Hu Ti (canniot think of the actual spelling right now)
aefibird Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 I liked the movie - very colourful and artistic and an all-round decent way to spend a couple of hours! "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
