i think elbows are very effective. ofcourse not always the best choice but a still a great striking surface.

pain is weakness leaving the body.

elbows are very effective in close range....

 

but be careful how you strike with your elbow

 

see...in striking with the elbow can be dangerous....

 

strike it upward you will rip and bust the person open.

 

i you do it side ways and inward your beating not busting or ripping him up. ofcourse in a fight....a striker fights but becareful how you control you attacks.

Even the most powerful human being has a limited sphere of strength. Draw him outside of that sphere and into your own, and his strength will dissipate.

What??? are you talking about? Have you busted anyone open recently? If so, I'd love to know how you do that. I'm always up for a new technique. I'm still trying to find someone that can teach me the "quart of blood" technique that Eddie Murphy talks about on "Trading Places". If anyone knows this please tell me how I can do it too. :P

When you have someone in the guard, a short strike elbow to the nose or jaw is much more effective then a punch where you need to bring your hand all the way up. As for elbows in the standing, I would not reley on them.
